Lemon Basil Boneless Wings

This lemon and basil dish is outrageously delicious, and makes a perfect weeknight meal — enjoy!

Ingredients

8 - 5 oz. Boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 2-inch pieces
1 Lemon, juiced
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Black pepper
4 Egg whites

5 cups Plain Bread Crumbs
2 tbsp Garlic powder
2 tbsp Onion powder
4 tsp Olive oil
Fresh Basil, garnish, chiffonade

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

2. In a large bowl season the chicken with olive oil, salt, and black pepper.

3. Squeeze lemon juice over chicken.

4. Combine bread crumbs, garlic, and onion powder in a Ziploc bag. Adjust seasonings to taste.

5. Dredge 3-4 pieces of chicken in egg whites, and transfer pieces into the Ziploc bag.

6. Seal the bag and shake to coat the chicken. Repeat using the remaining chicken pieces.

7. Lay the coated chicken on a wire rack. Let the chicken sit at room temperature for 10 to 30 minutes to let the coating set.

8. Bake the chicken for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown, and cooked through turning as needed.

9. Garnish with fresh basil, and serve with Tzatziki Dip.
