Soft Holiday Cookies

Our Soft Holiday Cookies Recipe combines festive spices with a hint of sweetness for a perfectly soft and spiced treat, bringing the ultimate holiday comfort to your table — enjoy!

Ingredients

2¼ cup flour
1 large egg, room temperature
1 cup sugar
¾ cup butter, softened
¼ cup molasses

1 tbsp. ginger powder
2 tsp. cinnamon powder
1 tsp. ground cloves
1 tsp. baking powder
¼ tsp. salt

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. In a large bowl, mix together butter and sugar for approximately 5 to 8 minutes, until flurry and light.

3. Then, add in egg and molasses, until everything is mixed together.

4. In another bowl, whisk the flour, spices, baking powder, and salt together.

5. Gradually, sprinkle the flour mixture into the large bowl with the egg and butter mixture, and combine well.

6. Once the dough is well mixed, roll it into 1-inch balls, and place them on the lined baking sheet, two inches apart.

7. Once a baking sheet is full, place it in the oven to bake for 10 to 15 minutes.

8. Once the cookies are baked and lightly browned, remove them from the oven, and place them on a wire rack to cool.

9. Then, compile and bake your next batch following the same steps until all the dough is used.

10. Once all the cookies are baked and cooled, dig in or serve them up!
