Mulled Wine

Warm up this holiday season with our Mulled Wine Recipe, which is perfect for sharing with loved ones or savouring on a chilly winter evening, it’s the ultimate holiday comfort in a glass — cheers!

Ingredients

25 oz. red wine
2 oz. orange (one medium orange), sliced
2 cup apple cider
¼ cup honey

¼ brandy
9 cinnamon sticks
6 cloves, whole
2 star anise, whole

Instructions

1. Heat a large dutch oven or pot over medium heat, and add the wine, cider, and honey to it, stirring to combine.

2. Then, add the cloves, 3 cinnamon sticks, and star anise, and bring it to a simmer.

3. Once simmering, reduce heat to low and let it heat for 30 minutes; do not let the wine boil or simmer too much.

4. After that time, stir in the brandy, and then divide the mulled wine into mugs, garnish with a slice of orange and a cinnamon stick, and enjoy!
