Easy Italian Chicken

Ingredients

4 5-oz. chicken breasts
2 oz. parmesan cheese, grated
2 tbsp. olive oil
1 tbsp. dried oregano
1 tbsp. dried basil

1 tbsp. dried thyme
1 tbsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper

Instructions

1. Take chicken out of the fridge 30 minutes before cooking.

2. Preheat oven to 350ºF.

2. As the chicken gets to room temperature and the oven heats, mix the parmesan cheese, oregano, basil, thyme, garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl.

3. Coat the chicken breasts in the Italian seasoning mixture.

4. Once the chicken is coated, heat olive oil in a large oven-safe pan over medium heat.

5. Once the oil is hot, add the chicken on the round side and cook for 4 to 6 minutes.

6. Flip the chicken, place the pan in the hot oven, and let it cook for 12 to 15 minutes.

7. After that time, check the chicken, if it has an internal temperature of 165ºF it's done, but if not, return it to the oven for another few minutes.

8. Once cooked, serve, and enjoy!
