This Yummy Yam Fries with Horseradish Dip Recipe is a great side dish or snack that is super easy to make — try it out today!
Yam Fries: 1 cup yams 1 tsp olive oil Cayenne pepper to taste Salt-free seasoning to taste
Horseradish Dip: 2 oz. yogurt (fat-free, plain)* 1 tsp mayonnaise (fat-free)* 1 tsp horseradish (or to taste)
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. 2. Peel yams and chop them into wedges. 3. Toss yams with olive oil and sprinkle with spices of your choice. 4. Place yams on a baking sheet, evenly spaced, then transfer to oven and cook for 30 to 40 minutes flipping halfway through. 5. While yam fires bake, combine the last three ingredients for the Horseradish Dip in a small bowl. 6. Once the fries are cooked and the dip is combined, serve and enjoy!
*For the vegan version, use rice or soy yogurt and omit mayonnaise, or use a dairy-free, egg-free mayonnaise.
