Tuna Salad Sandwich

Our protein-packed Tuna Salad Sandwich is full of fibre and heart-healthy ingredients, making it a nutritious, easy-to-prepare recipe perfect for quick, satisfying lunch sandwiches all week long—enjoy!

Ingredients

10 slices bread, toasted (eventually)
20 oz. canned tuna, drained
2½ cup celery, chopped
2½ cup onion, finely chopped

5 pickles, sliced
2½ tbsp. margarine (soft, light, non-hydrogenated)
10 tsp. mayo
Pinch of pepper

Instructions

1. Mix the tuna, celery, onion, mayo, and pepper together in a bowl.

2. Once mixed, toast the bread, then butter with margarine, then place the slices of pickles on it, and then add one-fifth/one serving of the tuna mixture per sandwich.

3. Once the tuna salad sandwiches are made, serve and enjoy!

Tip

If you're meal prepping this recipe, simply make the tuna salad in advance, storing it in the fridge until you'd like to enjoy a serving, and then make your sandwich! For each sandwich, toast 2 slices of bread, then butter them with half a tablespoon of margarine, then place the slices of one pickle on it, with one-fifth/one serving of the tuna mixture.
