1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Once the oven is hot, place the pita in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, and bake for 4 to 6 minutes per side.
3. While the pita bakes/toasts, place the chickpeas, pumpkin, garlic, tahini, lemon juice, olive oil, chili powder, cumin powder, cayenne pepper, and salt in a food processor to blend until smooth.
4. Once the pumpkin hummus is smooth and the pita is toasted, serve them up together, and enjoy!
