Marinated Steak Recipe
One serving = 1 Protein, 1½ Fat, ½ Extra
¼ cup wine vinegar
6 tsp olive oil
4 tsp Dijon mustard
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 Tbsp fresh rosemary or fresh thyme, chopped
¼ tsp salt-free seasoning
¼ tsp pepper
1 16 oz. marinating steak (about 1" thick)
In large shallow dish, combine vinegar, oil, mustard, garlic, rosemary, seasoning and pepper. Add steaks, turning to coat. Cover and marinate in refrigerator for 12 to 24 hours, turning occasionally.
Reserving marinade, place steak on a greased barbecue grill over high heat and brush marinade over top. Cook for 6 minutes per side for medium rare or to desired doneness.
Transfer to cutting board and tent with foil. Let stand for 5 minutes. Carve thinly against the grain.
