Homemade Chicken Wings

Our crispy Homemade Chicken Wings Recipe has a simple, yet flavourful spice, that can be cooked in the air fryer or the oven — enjoy!

Ingredients

½ lbs. chicken wings split into flats & drums
2 tsp. olive oil
½ tsp. paprika
½ tsp. garlic powder

Pinch of salt
Pinch of pepper
Nonstick cooking spray

Instructions

AIR FRYER:
1. Preheat the air fryer to 380°F.

2. Pat the chicken wings dry and place them in a large bowl.

3. Drizzle the wings with olive oil and sprinkle with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

4. Toss wings together till they are evenly seasoned.

5. When the air fryer is hot and the wings are seasoned, spray the basket with cooking spray and place the wings in the basket so they are not touching; cook for 10 minutes.

6. After that time, increase the temperature to 400°F, and cook until crisp and golden, about 6 to 8 more minutes.

7. Once cooked, repeat the cooking steps until all the wings are done.

8. Once all the wings are cooked, serve, and enjoy!

OVEN:
1. Preheat the oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper and cooking spray.

2. Pat the chicken wings dry and place them in a large bowl.

3. Drizzle the wings with olive oil and sprinkle with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

4. Toss wings together till they are evenly seasoned.

5. When the oven is hot and the wings are seasoned, place them on the baking sheet so they are not touching.

6. Then, place the baking sheet in the oven and cook for 40 to 45 minutes.

7. After that time, flip the wings, and put the oven on broil for 4 to 6 minutes.

8. Once cooked, serve, and enjoy!

Tip

Serve the wings alongside 2 tablespoons of fat-free ranch, which would add 1 Extra allotment, or 1 tablespoon of regular ranch, which would add 1 Fat allotment, for some creaminess and extra taste!
