Fruit and Yogurt Parfait

Craving something delicious and light? Parfaits make for a great breakfast or an early morning snack — let's try it out!


½ cup strawberries, diced
¼ cup blueberries
6oz or ¾ cup vanilla nonfat yogurt

½ cup high-fiber cereal
5 almonds, crushed
1 packet sugar substitute


1. Fold ¼ cup diced strawberries into yogurt.

2. In a bowl, toss all remaining strawberries with crushed almonds.

3. In a parfait glass, layer ½ the yogurt mix, the strawberries, the blueberries, and then the cereal.

4. Top with remaining yogurt mix.

5. Serve chilled.
