Fruit and Yogurt Parfait

Fruit and Yogurt Parfait Recipe

Serves 1 | One serving = 1 Fruit, 1 Dairy, ½ Starch, ½ Fat

Craving something delicious and light? Parfaits make for a great breakfast or an early morning snack.


½ cup strawberries, diced

¼ cup blueberries

6oz or ¾ cup vanilla nonfat yogurt

 ½ cup high-fiber cereal

5 almonds, crushed

1 packet sugar substitute


Fold ¼ cup diced strawberries into yogurt. In a bowl, toss all remaining strawberries with crushed almonds.

In parfait glass, layer ½ the yogurt mix, the strawberries, the blueberries, and then the cereal. Top with remaining yogurt mix.

Serve chilled.
