Classic Eggnog Recipe

Serves 4.

One serving = ¼ Protein, ½ Dairy

The holiday season can be deadly when it comes to your weight loss goals...if you let it. It does not mean you should deprive yourself of the yummy, delicious goodness either! What if we told you we want you to have your holiday staples like eggnog and other flavourful treats? Holidays would not be the holidays without the frothy, creamy, sweet, delicious classic eggnog!

The Herbal Magic team has created the perfect eggnog recipe that can be implemented into your weight loss journey without feeling guilty!

So if you're craving something sweet, give our eggnog a try and we promise you will not be disappointed!



  • 2 large eggs (whole), separated
  • 16 oz. milk, (1%, or skim)
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp. of whole cloves
  • 2 tsp. artificial sweetener
  • Pinch of nutmeg
  • Pinch of cinnamon
  • 1 cinnamon stick for garnish



Combine egg yolks and milk in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat until the mixture coats the spoon. Allow to cool.

Beat egg whites until soft peaks form. Add to the milk mixture in the saucepan.

Add vanilla extract and sweetener and stir gently.

Remove from the heat, cover and let it chill.

Garnish with cinnamon stick and sprinkle some nutmeg and/or cinnamon.
